God is the Good Shepard

God wants us to live the good life. He wants us to live a life filled with abundance, spiritual rest and tranquility. Just like the shepherd leads his sheep to green pastures, so does the Good Shepard want to lead us to a life filled with joy and happiness.

Living your best life all starts with developing a personal relationship with the Father. The only way to do this is through prayer, meditation, and studying His word. A relationship won’t grow if the effort isn’t put into it. A relationship with God is like having a best friend that sticks closer than a brother. Take the time to get to know God as your friend, your Savior, and your Father who loves you and only wants what is best for you.

Building a relationship with God will allow you to be sensitive to Him. When he speaks, you will know His voice, when He commands, you will obey. You will recognize His voice because you took the time to know Him. Take the time today and give God all of you. Clear your calendar from the issues of this world and begin filling it with the things of God.

Prayer: God, I love You and I want to know You deeper and more intimately than I do now. My soul longs to walk in the green pastures hand in hand with You. Help me to develop a special time to spend with You daily. Show me Your Love and Glory. Thank You. In Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Scripture: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. Psalm 23:1

This was great, so will you make these devotions out of a book?
