Needless Weight

Anxiety is more than trying to get to work on time and traffic is at a standstill. Anxiety is more than standing behind the little old lady in the grocery store watching her count her pennies instead of using that $20 bill in her purse! Anxiety is an emotional and physical illness that disturbs a person’s entire life.

Whether you are Christian or not, God wants you to be happy. He wants you to have a joy in your soul that can’t be explained. When life happens and anxiety gets in the way, God is standing right there fighting with you, making sure everything is alright. Listen ladies, anxiety will weigh you down, but God will pick you up. He will take the broken pieces of your life and make them whole again.

No longer do you have to allow anxiety to ruin your life. Take charge of your life by getting the help you need. Whether it be your pastor or a therapist, God will honor your self-care and began a good work in you. Don’t worry about what other people have to say, God is behind the scenes making sure that your destiny will still arrive in a timely fashion. Mental illness is not your portion. It’s just merely a thorn in your side the enemy is using to try to weigh you down and destroy you. Remember, you have the power and you have the victory to overcome. Yes, it may take some extra help, but with God on your side you can still live a life of tranquility and abundance.

Prayer: Lord, when anxiety tries to destroy me, take charge and calm my fears. Send someone my way with a good word and a laugh so my soul can be calm and quiet. Thank you for fighting for me when I feel weak. Amen

Scripture: Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down,
but a good word makes him glad. Proverbs 12:25
